Amend wardrobe, chamber and light on portraits that are almost right. One amendment per commission, 21 credits, originals preserved.

Edit your own creations and media you hold rights and consent for.

Per-job credit pricing is shown before you confirm. An edit produces a new piece; your original stays untouched in your account.

Amend the portrait. Do not re-commission it.

Every series holds portraits that are nearly right. The pose commands attention. The light is true. The gown, however, belongs to another pack, or the chamber to another season. The editor exists for precisely those portraits. State the amendment in plain words — wardrobe, chamber, light, a single detail — and the portrait is re-rendered with that amendment entered and everything else left standing in its place. Editing costs 21 credits a commission, declared before you confirm, and the original is never touched: it rests in your account beside its amended heir.

The discipline of this chamber is order. An amendment is one change, entered once, judged on its own merits. The moment three changes are stacked into a single commission, the portrait stops being amended and starts being re-invented — at an editor’s price, with a generator’s unpredictability, and with the parts you loved most quietly rearranged while you were watching the parts you did not.

The order of amendment

1

Choose portraits worth keeping

Strong bones, wrong details. A portrait whose composition itself has failed costs more to amend than to re-commission, and this chamber is not where pride should be spent.

2

Enter one amendment per commission

A single instruction keeps the rest of the portrait still and the cost predictable. Three amendments at once is not an edit; it is a new commission wearing an amendment’s price.

3

Compare, and present the better

Original and amendment rest side by side in your account. Present the winner. The other costs nothing further and asks nothing of you.

Amendments most often entered

Wardrobe

One portrait, three gowns

The same pose dressed for three different packs. The swiftest multiplication a catalogue at court can know.

Chamber

The setting moved

Boudoir to palace suite to bare violet backdrop, without moving the lady or the light that holds her.

Light

The hour changed

Daylight to candlelit evening, flat to dramatic — a portrait re-graded to sit quietly among the set it is joining.

Instructions that hold

Wardrobe

“Change the violet peignoir to deep gold silk. Keep the pose, the hair and the candlelight exactly as they are.”

The amendment is named, and everything else is explicitly protected. The words “keep exactly” are inexpensive insurance, and at this court they are honoured.

Chamber

“Move the scene to a marble palace bathroom in warm mirror light. The subject and her pose do not change.”

One chamber, moved once. A new room, a new gown and a new pose in a single commission is a new portrait, and should be briefed and priced as one.

Amend, or commission again?

SituationThe better move
Pose and light are right; details are wrongAmend — it keeps the bones and costs less
The composition itself has missedRe-commission the portrait with a corrected brief
One honoured portrait, three packsAmend three times from the one original
How much does an amendment cost?

21 credits per commission, declared before you confirm. Amending an honoured portrait is normally cheaper than re-commissioning and re-judging a whole set.

Does an amendment replace my original?

No. The amendment is a new portrait. The original rests untouched, and both remain yours to present or keep private.

How many changes may one commission carry?

One. Stacked changes unsettle the very parts you ordered kept, and the portrait drifts from its record.

May I amend uploaded photographs?

Yes — your own photographs, under the same consent rules that guard every upload at this court.

The amendment missed. What now?

Narrow the instruction, and name what must remain identical. Vagueness is the usual cause of a wandering amendment.
